Job Details:

• Work 3x13-hour shifts, Saturday through Monday from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Call required: 1 night of call per week and 1 weekend every 4th week (covering MRI from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM)
• Block scheduling type
• 40-hour orientation
• 2 years of experience in service line required
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT MR or ARMRIT, ARRT R, BLS (TMC only required if performing CT or X-Ray)
• Allscripts/Altera charting system experience preferred, not required
• Perform MRI imaging across a broad range of body areas including abdomen, brain, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, shoulder, knee, hip, pelvis, and extremities
• Perform specialized imaging procedures including MRA, MRV, and MRCP
• Prepare and/or administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs
• Operate PACS and GE equipment
• Apply radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE protocols
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
