Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM with a 45-minute meal break
• 40 hours can be offered per week
• No call requirement
• No weekend requirement
• Float requirement: Yes - must be open to floating within/near facility
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must have experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Required work setting skills: High Risk OB, Outpatient GE, and Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Required general ultrasound skills: Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Required OB/GYN skills: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Trimester, Amniotic Fluid Index, Fetal Anatomical Survey, and Placenta Previa
• Required neonatal skills: Bone lengths, Cerebellum, Ventricles, Head, and Heart
• Required renal/pelvis skills: Bladder, Hernia, Ovaries, Prostate, Renal/Bladder, Uterus, and Vaginal
• Preferred OB/GYN skills: Nuchal Translucency Screen
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS
• Preferred certifications: ARDMS FE, NT
• Must be a registered diagnostic medical sonographer
• Perform level 1 OB scans and GYN scans for OB/GYN patients
• Required to work with GE equipment
• Charting system: EPIC (experience required)
• Scrubs not provided - any color accepted
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Contract staff will be assigned to a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster
