Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for their Operating Room. You will work as a key member of the surgical team, handling instruments, equipment, and supplies during a wide range of surgical procedures.

Schedule and Hours

• 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend shifts required as needed, including one weekend shift per rotation (6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Saturday or Sunday)
• Holiday rotation required
• On-call up to 4 shifts per month, with end-of-shift callback at 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed hours: facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks

Clinical Focus

• Common cases: Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (craniotomy, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN
• Preferred experience in Neuro (spines/craniotomy), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Da Vinci Xi)
• Level 1 trauma experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years surgical technologist experience
• NBSTSA certification (NCCT not accepted)
• BLS certification
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• May float within scope to meet facility needs between units and sister facilities

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $1,584
