Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Must work every other weekend and holidays
• Required to float to other Medical Surgical units
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Required certification: BLS
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Develop individualized plans of care for patients through interviews, health record reviews, and assessment of physical and health care needs including discharge planning
• Initiate appropriate emergency measures when physician is not immediately available, including resuscitative measures for cardiac or respiratory arrest
• Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by physician including medications, IV therapy, and respiratory therapy
• Plan, provide, and document patient and family teaching in preventative, curative, and rehabilitative measures
• Record observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures administered, and status of coordinated activities
• Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes and update plan of care accordingly
• Provide technical guidance, delegation, and direction to other registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and unlicensed personnel
• Assume oversight for patient care administered by licensed practical nurses and unlicensed personnel
