Med Surg RN Job in Utica, NY

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on a 56-bed medical-surgical unit at MVHS Inc. in Utica, NY. This is a travel position with an 89-day duration, starting November 30, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Night shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly pay: $2,309.75

Your Role

You'll care for adult patients (18 years and older) with diagnoses including cancer, oncology, hematology, ESRD, diabetes, GI conditions, abdominal pain, dermatology, and general medicine. Your unit covers Oncology, Hematology, Nephrology, Endocrine, GI, Dermatology, and General Medicine services.

You'll operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, chest tubes, and specialty beds. Floating to other units is required. Scrub color is navy blue.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York RN license with NURSYS verification
• 2+ years of experience in Med Surg or Oncology
• Travel healthcare experience
• EMR proficiency with EPIC
• AHA BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Skills checklist matching Med Surg/Oncology specialty
