Job Details:

• Varied weekend and holiday schedule required
• No guaranteed hours
• Must be able to work PCU, OBS, MS, and TELE units
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Review patient history and physical with patient/family and assure completion within appropriate timeframes
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate individualized plans of care including discharge planning utilizing assessment data and patient, family, and health team input
• Implement plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of health care team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching and revise plan of care as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner in the patient record
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and support education and orientation of facility personnel
• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting required, with experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
