Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts in a 4x10 schedule
• Weeknight call requirements of 1-2 times per week
• Weekend call requirements of 2 times per 6-week pay cycle
• Holiday call requirements apply
• Call response time of 30 minutes required
• 8-10 on-call shifts per 6-week pay period
• Assist in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles within the Cardiac Cath Lab department
• Work in a facility with 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, and 1 hybrid suite averaging 10-20 cases per day
• Treat common diagnoses including STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, atrial fibrillation, and flutter
• Solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab technician experience required
• Charting completed using EPIC EMR system
• Floating within the department may be required; extreme need may require floating within Zone 3 facilities
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
• Must be located within 60 miles of the facility; driver's license must be submitted
• Agency must provide traveler Rad Badge
• If ARRT (R) is not held, a Colorado Fluoroscopy license must be obtained (approximately one week to obtain)
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), ARRT (R), and RCIS via CCI
• BSN not required
• Trauma Level 1 acute care setting
