Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required; holidays as needed
• Float required if needed across all facilities
• Patient ratio of 6:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• Charting system: EPIC experience required
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical/surgical diagnoses, palliative/end of life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes, and surgical patients
• Skills required include telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line blood draw, PICC line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, heparin administration, wound care/wound vac, and IV management
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Pre-approved time off of one instance allowed
