CT Technologist Job in Santa Cruz, CA

Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking a CT Technologist for an acute care setting. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 12, 2026, working 4x10 night shifts at $2,782 weekly.

Role and Responsibilities

• Operate Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 Light Speed scanners
• Perform 10–20 scans per shift, with evenings typically being the busiest periods
• Work with ER patients and perform Virtual Colonography and gated procedures as needed
• Use Cerner charting system and McKesson PACS for image management
• Float to Radiology as needed
• Participate in holiday rotation with same hours as regular weekends

Shift and Coverage

You will work 10-hour night shifts. A radiologist is not available 24/7 on nights; Nighthawk is used for night shift coverage. You'll receive 3–4 shift floor-specific orientation before beginning independent work.

Requirements and Certifications

• ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications
• BLS Certification
• Crisis Protocol Approved
• Fluoro certification
• Current California license
• General CT experience and familiarity with common diagnostic imaging procedures

Additional Details

You will wear teal scrubs. This position is in an acute care setting where you will gain experience across a range of imaging procedures in a busy hospital environment.
