ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU Neuro

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• 13-week contract
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback requirements; contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours taken in hour increments as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with 1 travel assignment preferred
• Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong Neuro assessment skills required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Provide care for Neuro population including Stroke, TBI, Head injury, and Neurosurgery patients
• Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required
• Experience as Neuro Interventionalist a plus
• Perform Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation
• Neuro-specific procedures include bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery
• Must be able to work independently, manage tasks timely, and adapt well to change
• Scrub colors: any color
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
