RN - Oncology

Job Details:

• Night shift position with 36 or 48 hours available per week
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Work in a 28-bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit as well as a 15-bed intermediate care Stem Cell Transplant Unit
• Care for adult patients with hematology and oncology diagnoses
• Perform accessing and managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, and inpatient oncology care
• Float within scope of practice as needed per float policy
• Must have Epic charting system experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BSN preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification (must be attached at submission or pending completion before start)
• ACLS preferred
• Virginia nursing license required (pending accepted if in hand before start)
• Nursys verification required with submission
• References required
