Kentucky River Medical Center is seeking an Allied Health Professional First Assist Technician for their Operating Room in Jackson, Kentucky. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 8, 2026, offering a stable day schedule of 5x8 hours weekly at $2,628 per week.

About the Role

You will work under the direct supervision of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and the surgical team to support surgical procedures. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting with surgical procedures as directed by the surgical team
• Maintaining operating room cleanliness and sterility before, during, and after each case
• Supporting the efficient flow of surgical operations

Schedule & Environment

This position offers day shifts with no weekend call responsibilities. You will work a consistent 5x8 schedule in an active surgical environment at a facility focused on permanent staff replacement.

Required Qualifications

• Current Kentucky license as First Assist Technician
• Completion of an accredited training program (certificate, diploma, or associate degree)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in first assist or operating room support
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• Voluntary certification preferred for employment consideration
