Special Procedures Technologist Job in Burlingame, CA

Sutter Health Mills-Peninsula Medical Center is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to join the Interventional Radiology Lab. You will provide technical support to cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses during procedures in a dynamic clinical environment.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10 days with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required; on-call as needed
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: August 31, 2026
• Weekly pay: $3,615.84
• Location: Burlingame, CA

Your Responsibilities

• Execute safe and precise treatment under cardiologist supervision
• Perform patient assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Support procedures for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Manage a patient ratio of 10 per day
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures regarding patient privacy and safety
• May mentor and train students as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional degree
• 2 years of relevant experience
• California state license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and Fluoro Permit certifications (AHA or ARC)
• Charting system experience
• 2 references from within the last year
• Ability to complete 40 orientation hours
