Pharmacist Job in Panama City, FL

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist for a 182-day travel assignment beginning November 21, 2025. You will work 4x10 night shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM on a 7 on/7 off schedule with rotating weekends, earning $2,336 weekly with 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify CPOE orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• Prepare and dispense medications including sterile, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition preparations
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations and pharmacokinetic dosing of Aminoglycoside and Vancomycin
• Execute TPN calculations and prepare parenteral nutrition
• Troubleshoot Pyxis ES cabinet issues throughout the hospital
• Document all activities using Meditech Magic system
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounding teams

Required Qualifications:

• PharmD or Bachelor's degree in pharmacy
• Current Florida pharmacist licensure
• Recent acute care hospital experience
• Proficiency with Meditech information systems and Pyxis ES cabinets

Preferred Qualifications:

• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NICU, PICU, or pediatric pharmacy experience

You will wear grey hospital scrubs and work within a collaborative healthcare environment. This position offers the opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a fast-paced acute care setting while maintaining the flexibility of a structured on/off schedule.
