Cath Lab Technologist Job in Toledo, OH

ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 4x10 hour day shifts and be part of a high-volume cardiac catheterization program serving 25–30 patients daily across 7 rooms.

Role Responsibilities

• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including left and right heart catheterization and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Assist with specialized procedures: IABP placement and removal, Impella insertion, carotid stenting, and electrophysiology (EP) lab cases
• Perform interventional radiology procedures: angiography, stent placement, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
• Float to EP lab when cath lab and IR case volume is low (if EP experience held)
• Manage IV starts, EKG lead placement, and general patient support in both outpatient and inpatient settings

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a STEMI/PCI facility
• Must be STEMI-ready at time of application
• IABP and Impella training required
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and ARRT certification (hard stop — must be in hand at submittal)
• Ohio Department of Health (ODH) license required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Preferred equipment experience with Siemens or Phillips systems

On-Call Expectations

On-call is required as needed: one weekday call per week and every 5th weekend call (Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM). Holiday call may apply during summer or winter breaks.

Logistics

Scrubs are provided. Start date is September 14, 2026. Weekly pay is $3,051. Travel candidates only—no local candidates within 50 miles accepted.
