Pharmacy Tech - Pharmacy Tech

Job Details:

• Work a 7 on 7 off rotation schedule including weekends
• Rotation may start on Wednesday or Thursday
• Position is located on the 2nd floor pharmacy in B Tower
• 3rd shift position with broad experience in pediatric and adult pharmaceutical care required
• Oversee technician staff, verify orders, complete clinical documentation, and manage other operational needs of a central pharmacy
• Perform order verification and product checking/distribution
• Answer clinical questions from nurses and providers
• Operate equipment including Talyst Machine, Pyxis, LAFW, CAI, Cerner EMR, and Vigilanz
• Hospital experience required
• Experience overseeing the work of technicians required
• Emergency Department experience preferred
• Cerner and Vigilanz experience preferred
• 3rd shift experience preferred
• ACLS experience/certification preferred, required if working in the Emergency Department
• RPh licensure in North Carolina required
• Dress code: Forest Green scrub top and bottom, or black bottom; business casual also allowed
