Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You will join the Telemetry unit at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center as a Registered Nurse. This is a travel position offering you the opportunity to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Position Details:

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) on Telemetry

• Shift: 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; every other holiday required
• Assignment Length: 181 days

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay: $2,229

In this role, you will monitor patients on telemetry equipment, assess vital signs, administer medications, coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams, and respond to cardiac rhythm changes and patient needs. You will work in a supportive environment alongside experienced nursing staff and physicians.

Your responsibilities include patient education, documentation, infection control measures, and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care quality. You will be expected to function independently while collaborating with your team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care.
