Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract beginning October 26, 2026. You will work 8-hour shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week (excluding orientation week or holiday closures).

Your Role

You will perform high-quality radiologic exams, interventional medical sonography exams, and cone beam CT exams in a fast-paced IR unit. You will assist with complex procedures including interventional radiology, vascular interventional, and neuro interventional cases, handling an average of 4–6 cases per day in a 1:1 setting. You will work alongside 1 RN and 2 Radiology Techs and perform three-dimensional reconstruction of imaging examinations as needed.

On-Call and Scheduling

You will be responsible for 1–2 nights of weeknight on-call as needed with a 30-minute response time. Weekend call rotation occurs every 4th weekend, with holidays required as needed. You may float to other locations in the central region as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Interventional Cath Procedures, Interventional Vascular Procedures, or Interventional Neurology
• ARRT and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Wisconsin license
• Associate Degree or Certificate
• Epic charting experience highly preferred

Compensation and Details

Weekly pay is $3,621. Any colored scrubs are permitted. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your skills in a high-volume interventional setting with a dedicated team in central Wisconsin.
