Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract beginning November 23, 2026. You will work in a fast-paced IR unit performing a variety of procedures in a 1:1 ratio, averaging 4–6 procedures per day alongside one RN and two Rad Techs.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 5x8 days, typically 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexible scheduling
• Hours: 40 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call: 1–2 weeknights as needed with 30-minute response time
• Weekend call rotation every 4th weekend; holidays required as needed
• May float to other locations in the central region as needed

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality radiologic exams, interventional medical sonography exams, and cone beam CT exams
• Conduct three-dimensional reconstruction of imaging examinations
• Support complex interventional radiology, vascular interventional, and neuro interventional procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with background in interventional cath, interventional vascular, or interventional neurology procedures
• Associate degree or certificate in radiologic technology or related field
• Current ARRT certification
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Wisconsin radiologic technologist license
• Epic charting experience highly preferred

• Traveler must reside outside 50 miles from facility
• Weekly pay: $3,521.60
