Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Roswell, GA

North Fulton Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for day shift work in their Operating Room. This is a travel position with a 91-day contract starting October 27, 2026.

Position Details

• Day shift: four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call requirement: 3 times per month, including one 24-hour weekend call
• Weekly pay: $1,776

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operative suite and surgical field to maintain a safe patient care environment
• Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety throughout surgical procedures
• Gather instruments and supplies; serve as surgical assistant as needed
• Handle moderate to high acuity surgical cases
• Anticipate surgeon and healthcare team needs during procedures
• Set up sterile tables with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications
• Perform surgical counts with circulator and participate in procedure pause/time-out
• Pass instruments to surgeon and maintain organized back table and operative field
• Uphold the highest standard of sterile technique at all times
• Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and stocking of operating rooms and perioperative areas
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards
• Mentor, precept, or train students and new employees as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current national certification: CST, TS-C (NCCT), CSFA, or CSA
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Accredited Surgical Technology program completion preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures
• Ability to function in stressful and emergency situations
• Maintain 20 hours of continuing education per evaluation period
