CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work scheduled shifts Wednesday/Thursday 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM with every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday included
• Possible call shifts required with a 30-minute response time
• Call rotation occurs every 6th week with varying hours depending on day of week
• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
• Occasional holiday rotation shared with permanent staff
• Perform CT scans with and without contrast in an ER and inpatient setting
• Average of 16-24 scans per day across 3 GE scanners (one 16-slice and two 64-slice)
• Must be proficient with Meditech EMR and Fuji PACS systems
• Must be able to start IVs
• May float between two campuses approximately 16 minutes apart as needed
• May be asked to precept as needed by the unit
• Black scrubs required and are not provided by the facility
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT)
• Texas MRT license required
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Rad dosimetry badge provided by the unit
