ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Typical patient ratio of 4:1 based on acuity
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirements
• 3 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• RN scrubs may be any color
• Charting system: Cerner (experience required)
• Free parking available
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred certification: TNCC
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid participating compact license required
• Basic pediatric skills required
• Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Must adhere to quality and patient safety standards including medication administration via BCMA
• Key clinical skills include triage, interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, arterial line management, central line care, chest tube management, procedural sedation, BiPAP/CPAP management, and care of ventilated patients
• Trauma Level I experience required
