Operating Room RN Job in Augusta, GA

AU Medical Center, Inc. in Augusta, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Operating Room. This is a day shift position with a weekday mid-shift start at 10:45 AM. You will work on a schedule that includes 3 on-call shifts within a 4-week rotation.

About the Role

As an OR circulator, you will perform the comprehensive nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—in a multi-service operating room environment. You will provide relationship-based, patient-centered care adapted to the specific needs of the populations you serve. Your responsibilities include coordinating the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care; participating in interdisciplinary communication and rounds; and responding promptly to emergencies in a fast-paced setting.

You will complete all mandatory education and competency assessments, participate in evidence-based practice initiatives, and contribute to performance improvement activities. Strong critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
• 2–3 years of OR circulator experience in a multi-service operating room
• Associate's or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• BLS certification required upon hire

What We Offer

OR scrubs are provided. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 22, 2026. Weekly pay is $1,864.80.
