Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract position. You will work 5x8 day shifts, typically starting between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with 40 guaranteed hours per week and no weekend or holiday call rotation requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing general nuclear medicine studies including bone scans, renal, HIDA, gastric emptying, thyroid, lymphoscintigraphy, cardiac, and parathyroid exams
• Operating Symbia Evo SPECT, Symbia Intevo SPECT/CT, Capintec Thyroid Probe, and Siemens Biograph Vision X PET/CT Scanner
• Charting in Epic and Merge PACS systems

Schedule and location: You will work variable days with occasional flexibility. You may be placed on call for low census hours with a 2-hour callback minimum. Floating to additional locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, or Stanley may be required as needed.

Required qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT(N) or CNMT certification (AHA or ARC required)
• Minimum 1–2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience
• Associate's degree or certificate in nuclear medicine technology
• Experience with Epic and Merge PACS charting

Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of SPECT/CT and/or PET/CT imaging; Siemens equipment experience. Training will be provided on equipment and systems as needed.

Compensation: $3,232 weekly. Contract runs for 91 days, with a start date of November 2, 2026.
