Position Overview

You will work under the direction and supervision of licensed physical therapists, delivering direct patient care in a long-term care setting. Your responsibilities include:

• Implementing therapeutic exercises and interventions as directed by the supervising physical therapist
• Assisting patients with gait and balance training to improve mobility and independence
• Performing massage and other hands-on therapeutic techniques
• Recording patient progress and functional outcomes
• Reporting treatment results and observations to the physical therapist
• Supporting patients' rehabilitation and recovery goals

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant degree or equivalent credential
• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience
• Valid Texas state license or compact license
