Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Crockett, TX

You will work as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Avir Health Group, LLC - AVIR at Crockett, a long-term care facility in Crockett, Texas. This is a day shift position offering a structured schedule and predictable work environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Treat patients under the direction and supervision of physical therapists, using exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions
• Record patients' progress and report treatment results to the supervising physical therapist
• Build and manage your caseload using available patient referrals and treatment opportunities while meeting facility productivity expectations
• Remain onsite and available to work to fulfill guaranteed hours when patient volume allows
• Reschedule or complete remaining treatment sessions when clinically appropriate and consistent with the patient's plan of care, tolerance, and availability
• Communicate any barriers to completing treatment to facility leadership

Schedule and Benefits

• 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (days shift)
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend requirements
• Weekly pay: $1,704

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience
