Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts available as either 3x12 or 4x12 schedule
• One on-call day per 6-week schedule
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Saturday and Sunday)
• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients required
• Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 2 years of experience in Med Surg Telemetry required
• Travel experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Altera charting system experience preferred but not required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care/management, chest tubes, CVA management, feeding tube care and management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, PCA, peripheral and PICC line management, post cardiac angiogram, post MI care, pre/post cardiac cath, pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure, telemetry monitoring, total joint replacement, wound care/wound vac
