ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Rotating schedule with openings available for both day and night shifts
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Active PA or Compact license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only accepted)
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• 10-bed ICU unit with up to 8 visits per day
• Patient diagnoses include Medical ICU, Stroke, Sepsis, Renal Failure, Respiratory Failure, and Substance Withdrawal
• Required skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, CRRT/CVVHD, ECMO, central line care, BiPAP/CPAP management, vasoactive drip titration, pulmonary artery/Swan Ganz monitoring, ICP monitoring, and proning
• Special equipment experience required: CRRT, arterial lines, and Swan lines
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Two supervisor references preferred
