Job Details:

• Work 4x10-hour shifts per week
• No travel or trauma experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ARRT (RT) certification required
• Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose, monitor, and treat simple to complex conditions without surgery
• Assist with procedures including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization, and pain management
• Utilize specialized radiologic equipment and techniques to perform diagnostic, interventional, and invasive procedures
• Act as a scrub tech while assisting providers during procedures
• Maintain strict sterile field and adhere to established safety protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide comfort and care throughout
• Transfer images and data to the appropriate electronic health system and enter technical findings
• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, disinfecting, and equipment maintenance per manufacturer guidelines
• Respond to patient and family inquiries, providing clear information regarding diagnostic testing and expected result timelines
• Provide on-call clinical coverage outside regularly scheduled duty hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as assigned
• May support academic partnerships by engaging in teaching of radiology students
• May serve as a departmental preceptor to provide instruction and mentorship to new or less experienced team members
