Respiratory Therapist Job in Tallahassee, FL

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning January 20, 2026. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends required.

Your Role:

• Float throughout all inpatient units, including two 10-bed ICUs
• Manage aerosol treatments, BiPAP, and ventilator care
• Operate Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers
• Perform advanced procedures including intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary team rounding on nursing units
• Document patient care in Meditech
• Apply AIDET principles to patient interactions

Required Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Critical care and emergency care experience
