Opportunity:

RN - Rehab

Job Details:

• Night shift position on a rehabilitation unit
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 5 patients per nurse on days, nights, and weekends
• Daily census of 10-14 patients
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• Community hospital experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certification: BLS
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and more
• Required skills include: Acute Inpatient Rehab, Administration of blood and blood products, Anticoagulation therapy, Blood glucose monitoring, Central line care (PICC lines), Fall Risk Assessment/Prevention, Feeding tube care and management, Foley catheter removal, Infection Prevention, Insulin protocols, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Mobilization Techniques, Pain assessment and management, Patient Teaching, Pressure Ulcer Assessment/Prevention, Pulse Oximetry, Starting and maintaining IVs, Stroke scale assessment, Supplemental oxygen delivery, Tracheostomy care/management, Traumatic Brain Injury, Wound care, and more
