Med Surg RN Job in Erie, PA

St Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical unit. You will work 3 nights per week on 12-hour shifts, with 36 guaranteed hours weekly. This is a 92-week travel assignment starting August 10, 2026.

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients, monitoring their conditions and administering medications according to physician orders. Your responsibilities include:

• Assess and monitor patient vital signs, lab values, and clinical status throughout your shift
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members to coordinate care
• Document all patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Follow hospital protocols and safety procedures to maintain a secure environment

Compensation

You will receive $2,430 per week. This position offers the stability of guaranteed hours and a predictable night schedule.

What We're Looking For

You hold a current RN license and have experience in medical-surgical nursing. You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple patient needs. You communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
