Telemetry RN Job in Thornton, CO

HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in our Telemetry unit. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, on the 2nd floor Telemetry/2 South unit in the main hospital building.

Role Overview

You'll manage a patient load of 5:1, working alongside one Charge Nurse, three to four RNs, and two PCTs per shift. Your responsibilities include neurovascular checks, frequent ambulation and repositioning, orthopedic precautions, and comprehensive pain control. You'll use GE wireless telemetry boxes, Welch Allyn vital sign machines, and the Meditech EMR system.

Patient Population

This unit treats a diverse range of patients, including:

• Blunt force trauma and poly trauma
• Spinal cord injuries (SCIs)
• Gunshot wounds (GSWs) and stabbings
• Chest pain and stroke workups
• Congestive heart failure (CHF)
• Atrial fibrillation (Afib) and rapid ventricular response (RVR)
• Traumatic brain injuries (TBIs)

Requirements

You must hold a current RN license with a minimum of one year of acute care Telemetry experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. NIH certification is preferred. Trauma, orthopedic, neuro, and stroke experience are all valued.

Compensation and Details

You'll receive $1,749 per week. The assignment begins September 7, 2026, and runs for 91 days. We're looking for a team player with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment.
