Telemetry RN Job in Lonetree, CO

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work the night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on a 33-bed telemetry unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building in the Medical Services unit.

Position Overview

This is a 3x12 night shift role with an estimated 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. The night shift team consists of one charge nurse and floor RNs; no technicians are assigned to this shift. You will be responsible for the full scope of telemetry nursing care in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage IV drips and medication administration
• Perform and interpret EKGs
• Manage chest tubes and cardiac devices such as pacemakers
• Provide comprehensive patient monitoring and care coordination

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care telemetry hospital experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• NIH certification preferred
• Experience in large trauma facilities preferred

Additional Information

The facility uses Meditech/CPN for the electronic medical record (EMR) system. You will demonstrate clinical competency, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
