Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Richmond, VA

Join CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus as a Cardiac Cath Lab RN. You'll work in a 3-room interventional cardiac cath lab with a team of 10–11 staff members daily. This is a day shift position with no night shift coverage, running 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM on a 4x10 schedule for 91 days, starting November 2, 2026.

Your Role

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Assist with Impella and balloon-pump procedures
• Handle peripheral cases and complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs)
• Support occasional device procedures
• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume lab environment

Team Structure

You'll work alongside 3 staff members per room in a mixed team of RNs and cardiovascular technologists. No floating to other units is required.

What We Need From You

• Active RN licensure
• RCIS certification
• RT certification
• Prior experience in an interventional cardiac cath lab (required)
• Experience in a high-volume lab handling complex cases (preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• On-call responsibilities on select weekends and weekdays; must report to hospital within 30 minutes when called

Equipment & Systems

You'll work with GE X-ray and MacLab equipment, and use Meditech for electronic medical records. Light blue scrubs are provided by the hospital.

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,810
