PICU RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will work as a registered nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at OU Health in Oklahoma City. This is a 12-hour shift role with an 89-day contract beginning August 10, 2026. You will earn $2,930.40 per week.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and deliver competent care consistently
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Monitor and note all changes in physician orders for your assigned patients
• Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe physiological manifestations, and intervene when necessary
• Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with patients and families to communicate care plans during hospitalization and at discharge
• Inform patients and families of hospital procedures and expectations
• Make appropriate referrals regarding patient care needs to relevant personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed

You must hold an active RN license and have Level 1 experience in a pediatric intensive care setting. Prior experience in critical care environments is essential for this role.
