CT Technologist Job in Springfield, MO

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment beginning August 3, 2026. You'll work evenings on a 5x8 schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

About the Role

You will perform diagnostic CT scans independently at a technical level, manage patient transport when needed, and execute all post-processing procedures on Vitrea workstations. You'll also handle necessary functions on the QC workstation and work with both ER patients and inpatients. The facility may require weekend hours and float assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience in a hospital setting
• Experience with stroke and trauma cases required
• Current ARRT registration in both Radiography and CT
• BLS certification from AHA
• Proficiency with GE CT scanners, power injectors, and workstations
• Familiarity with EMR systems: EPIC, Visage, Vitrea, and Medicalis

Assignment Details

Evening shift staff orient on the day shift and must be available the entire week for orientation. There are no call requirements. You'll be required to observe universal precautions consistently and wear proper personal protective equipment when appropriate. Black scrubs are required; no other colors are accepted.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,628 for this 91-day assignment.
