CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Float between X-ray and CT departments as required
• Review patient history and physician orders prior to procedures
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered
• Monitor patient condition continually and report and respond to changes in status as appropriate
• Prepare equipment and supplies and implement safety standards
• Perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures
• Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results
• Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Radiology and CT required
• Associate degree in radiologic technology required; CT technology certificate program preferred
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• ARRT certification in RD and CT required
• Florida CT/Rad Tech license required
