Emergency Room RN Job in Laramie, WY

Ivinson Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room on a rotating shift basis. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 20, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,496.60.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of patient care within your scope of practice
• Provide education to patients according to their individual needs
• Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders
• Coordinate the healthcare team and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming in good standing with the Board of Nursing
• Current, valid BLS certification
• Previous experience in a clinical nursing setting preferred
• Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work effectively without immediate supervision
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organization skills

Required Certifications (within timeframes specified)

• ACLS certification within six months
• PALS certification within six months
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) within six months
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) within six months
• De-escalation program certification within six months
• Procedural sedation module within six months
• QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training within one year

ENPC (Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course) or ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) certification is highly recommended. This is a Rapid Response Crisis position.
