Med Surg RN Job in Bowling Green, KY

You will work as an RN in the Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic units at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Role and Unit Details

• Provide direct patient care in a combined Med Surg-Ortho setting: 30-bed Ortho unit and 37-bed Med Surg unit
• Maintain typical patient ratios of 6:1
• Collaborate with PCTs, SNEs, and Unit Secretary (available during day shifts)
• Document using the Meditech system
• Float to other inpatient units, including CCU and ED, to accept patients and assist with care tasks

Schedule and Compensation

• Work 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours, day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
• Weekly pay: $1,763
• Four-week scheduling cycles with a full-time requirement of 4 weekend shifts per cycle (for example, 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday)

Expectations and Requirements

• BLS certification required
• All experience levels welcome; maintain a positive attitude and commitment to quality care
• Provide patient-centered care and use teamwork strategies to manage your patient load
• Be aware that some physicians perform bedside procedures in this unit, though these occur less frequently than in CCU or ED settings

Dress Code

• Scrub top and scrub bottoms required
• Long-sleeve shirts under scrub tops or scrub jackets are permitted
• No fleece, hoodies, sweatshirts, or sweaters
• Closed-toe shoes required; no shoes with holes
• No denim or camouflage patterns
