X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Shift start times will vary between 6:15 AM, 6:45 AM, 7:00 AM, and 8:30 AM
• Scheduling type is variable/other
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of approximately 15 patients
• Perform bedside/portable procedures, C-arm procedures, and cervical, lumbar, and thoracic spine imaging
• Perform hip, pelvis, sacrum/coccyx, and other diagnostic X-ray procedures
• Support special procedures including radiofrequency ablations, epidural spinal injections, facet injections, lumbar decompression, peripheral nerve stimulators, spinal cord stimulator trials, and medial branch blocks
• Operate special equipment including OEC 9900 and OEC ELITE
• Apply radiation safety protocols and adult outpatient imaging practices
• Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, CRT, and Fluoro Permit
• California state license and fluoro permit required
• At least 2 years of experience required
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Only 1 holiday may be requested off per contract
