NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Voluntary call available
• Minimum 2 years of Level III or Level IV NICU experience required
• 5 years of overall experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for neonatal patient population
• Daily census of 8 patients across a 12-bed unit
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Community hospital experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• California RN licensure required
• Level IV NICU experience required
• Skills required include: administration of blood and blood products, arterial line management, bubble CPAP, central line care, developmental care, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), high frequency ventilation, hyperbilirubinemia management, neonatal dosage calculations, neonatal sepsis care, UAC and UVC management, ventilator management, phototherapy, thermoregulation, and additional neonatal procedures
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
