PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Job Details:

• Work on a 32-bed Cardiac Progressive Care/Telemetry unit specializing in CHF
• Day shift nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 and night shift ratio of 1:5
• Must be able to draw blood and start/maintain IVs
• Must be proficient in heparin drips, administering blood products, and EKG interpretations and rhythm changes
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU/Telemetry required
• Must have a nursing degree through an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Epic experience within the last year required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Float requirement included in assignment
• Solid black scrubs required
• No block-scheduling requests will be accepted
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed, with no RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
