PCU RN Job in Akron, Ohio

Join a 32-bed Cardiac Progressive Care and Telemetry unit in Akron as a registered nurse. You will provide direct patient care on day shifts working a 3x12 schedule over a 90-day travel assignment beginning October 18, 2026.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver bedside nursing care with a day shift nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Draw blood and start or maintain intravenous lines
• Administer heparin drips and blood products
• Interpret EKGs and monitor rhythm changes
• Participate in unit float requirements as needed
• Work within the facility's electronic health record system (Epic)

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure with a nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU or Telemetry
• Epic experience within the last 12 months
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications

Assignment Details:

• Weekly pay: $2,229
• Location: Akron Campus, Akron, Ohio
• Shift: Day shift, 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift
• Duration: 90 days
• Dress code: Solid black scrubs
