Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Perform interventional radiographic procedures at a safe and experienced level without requiring direct supervision
• Weekday call is back-up coverage from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday
• Weekend coverage can be primary or back-up, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Holiday coverage 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM as needed
• Must be within a 45-minute radius for call back
• Call required on weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; will consider first-time travelers
• Neuro experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Vascular interventional experience required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 10 patients across 3 rooms
• May float within facility within scope; Radiology may float to an affiliate hospital nearby
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS, Fluoro Permit, Prophecy/Relias Advanced EKG
• Required equipment experience: Nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, hemodynamic monitoring, stroke, NIR experience
• Preferred equipment experience: Phillips, Toshiba, GE
• Required skills include: angioplasty, cardiac ablation, carotid angiography, carotid stenting, embolization, endovascular interventions, IVC filter placement, nephrostomy, PICC lines, TIPS, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, vertebroplasty, and additional interventional procedures
• Maryland state license required; pending MD license acceptable at submission but must post prior to start
• Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
• References required
• Copy of certifications required
