Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 5 days per week with 8-hour shifts
• Treat outpatient and occasional inpatient patients, with 15-20 patients per machine and 2-3 simulations per day
• Perform radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances to patients
• Operate specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician
• Maintain treatment records and prepare operational reports as required
• Maintain, store, and order supplies and equipment
• Provide quality patient care in relation to the patient's prescribed diagnosis, treatment, age group, development, and other identified needs
• Responsible for the performance of all duties relating to the administration of a prescribed course of radiation therapy
• TRUEBEAM/VARIAN, ARIA, VISION RT, and EPIC experience highly preferred
• Associate Degree required
• MRT License in the state of TX required
• RRT License in the state of TX required
• BLS (AHA only) required
• RADTH ARRT certification required
