Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Parkersburg, WV

WVU Camden Clark Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Catheterization Lab in Parkersburg, West Virginia. This is a travel position offering $3,071 per week for a 91-day assignment beginning September 7, 2026.

Schedule and Hours

• 5x8 rotating shifts with staggered start times: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Transition to 4x10 shifts anticipated
• On-call coverage every 3rd night and every 3rd weekend (full weekend rotation) with 30-minute response time required
• On-call begins at 3:30 PM and runs until 7:00 AM
• Holiday coverage fulfilled through call schedule

Role Responsibilities

You will work in a 3-suite Cath Lab averaging approximately 13 cases per day. Your responsibilities include circulating, patient preparation, IV placement, sedation administration, and comprehensive patient care. You will manage diagnostic and interventional procedures, PCI, TEEs, balloon pumps, pacers, event recorders, and defibrillators. Electrophysiology (EP) coverage is an expectation. Charting is completed in EPIC using the CUPID module for scheduling; documentation may be performed by RN or RAD tech before and after procedures. Equipment includes Volcano and Impella systems.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience; prior travel experience highly preferred
• Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• Valid, unexpired driver's license (copy must be submitted)
• Reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• BSN not required

Additional Information

Unit and department-specific orientation is 1–2 days. Scrubs are provided (light blue); personal shoes are required with shoe covers provided.
