ICU RN Job in Gilbert, AZ

You will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona. This is a 90-day travel position with a start date of August 24, 2026, working three 12-hour night shifts per week at $2,446.20 weekly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients
• Conduct thorough patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental and cultural needs
• Review patient history and physical with patients and families within appropriate timeframes
• Monitor diagnostic and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians promptly
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care with discharge planning components
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide coordination, delegation and supervision of licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Participate in education, orientation and professional development activities

Required qualifications:

• Current valid RN license in Arizona or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of experience in acute care hospital setting
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months in your specialty area
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification in your specialty
