Telemetry RN Job in Akron, OH

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse with telemetry experience for a 91-day travel assignment in Akron, OH. You will work on a 28-bed neuro-telemetry unit at Akron Campus, providing skilled patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Assignment Details:

• Shift: 3x12 Days
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 1, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,336
• Patient ratios: 1:4–5

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver care to neurological and post-trauma patients on a neuro-telemetry unit
• Float position—you will support various areas of the unit as needed
• Perform phlebotomy and IV insertion
• Assess patients using stroke scales and neurological protocols
• Document and communicate in the EPIC electronic health record system
• Work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and clinical judgment

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license with an accredited degree (ACEN or CCNE)
• Minimum 2+ years of telemetry experience as an RN
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months (must be listed on resume)
• IV starting and maintenance experience
• EPIC usage within the last 12 months (must be reflected on resume)
• Post-trauma patient care experience
• Proficiency with stroke scales and neurological assessments
• Solid black scrubs required

Important Notes:

• No block schedule requests permitted
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off at time of submission; RTO not allowed during the first two weeks of assignment
