ICU Registered Nurse Job in Fayetteville, GA

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its ICU in Fayetteville, GA. This 84-day travel assignment runs 3x12 nights at $1,916 weekly, with a start date of November 9, 2026.

Unit Overview

You will work in an ICU with IMCU designation, managing a patient ratio of 1:2–3 across day, night, and weekend shifts. The unit maintains a daily census of 29 patients across 30 beds, serving adults through geriatric populations. You may float within the facility and to sister campuses as needed.

Scheduling & Time Off

• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required; if one or two major holidays fall within your assignment, you work all; if three or more, you work at least two
• Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract

Patient Population & Diagnoses

Your patients will present with sepsis, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, vent/trachs, DKA, dialysis, stroke post-TPA, cardiogenic shock, and surgical cases. You will manage ventilated patients, interpret and manage dysrhythmias, and monitor pulmonary artery lines and Swan Ganz catheters.

Clinical Systems & Support

The unit uses Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR documentation. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Ventilator experience required
• Active Georgia or Compact nursing license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• CCRN preferred
