MRI Technologist Job in Greensboro, NC

Cone Health – Wesley Long Community Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 3x12-hour day shifts, Monday through Wednesday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with holiday rotation and back-up call on the third shift as needed.

About the Role

You will perform a variety of MRI exams on all patient types in an acute care setting. Your responsibilities include scanning patients ranging from infants to geriatrics, with experience managing anesthesia, pediatric sedations, ventilator ICU patients, and non-sedated pediatric cases. You will work with conditional devices using SAR and B1+RMS guidance, adjusting parameters to meet scanning conditions. Experience with MR conditional pacemakers, ICDs, stimulators, and other conditional implants is required, including L2 Trauma cases.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience; first-time travelers welcome
• Registered with ARRT or ARMRIT
• GE and Siemens equipment experience
• EPIC EMR experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and MR(R) certifications
• Community hospital experience

Equipment and Environment

You will work in a 3-scanner MRI department utilizing GE Architect 3T, GE Artist 1.5T, and Siemens Sola 1.5T wide bore scanners.

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,527. Assignment begins August 31, 2026.
